So...I was gonna upload my ELF haul today, from my computer, (I figured it was important to mention this because I normally upload directly from my iPod), and YouTube showed me this:
1 word: YAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!
I hope my videos don't become too long, because the more videos I make, the more I tend to ramble, and because I don't have any editing software (yet!) I hope I don't end up with 30 minute videos about random stuff.
This was extra surprising to me because I thought people had to become partner before they could upload videos longer than fifteen minutes. (it used to be ten, but they bumped it up now)
So.. have a nice day! I sure am!

Mid-Summer 'What I Plan on Buying" UPDATE!
Long Feather Earrings: DONE! I bought some at Rue 21 soon after I wrote that!
Sedu or Solia Flat iron: Not yet, I want it, but I'd figure I'd wait until it goes on SUPER SALE! Like around back to school time or maybe even Christmas. Also, whether or not its Sedu or Solia, I still need a new flat iron like... NOW!
Flexi Rods: Hmm..I really don't want them anymore. Well I do, but I don't. They make cute hair styles and they are heatless, but they are time consuming and I'm not sure how to wear them the second day.
BH Cosmetics 120 Palette 1st Edition: I kinda want it now, But I think i want the 3rd Edition more because it has more neutral colors, which is what I'm into. However, If I do get it, here's my dilemma: how would I re-apply it during the day/night? Its a fricken HUGE palette! There's no way I could carry that in my purse. I want my makeup to be lookin *fresh* alllll day long, and w/o re-applying, I'm not sure that's gonna happen.
ELF Lipstick/ Collection: I have expanded my ELF/ Makeup collection A L O T this summer. Not really the lip sticks, but lip glosses, lip liners, eyeshadows and other stuff definantly! (I've realized lip sticks look weird on me, I prefer lip liners with a lip gloss). Also, I just placed a huge order on ELF's website so...That should be coming soon! (Actually, their shipping is really slow, its gonna take over a week since I ordered it! I ordered it last Tuesday I think and it won't be here until this Saturday!)
Shea Moisture's Moisture Retention Shampoo: Bought it, Hated it. I'm stickin with KeraCare!
Dresses/ Rompers: Yep. I bought a few. But honestly, I've been buying so much makeup lately, clothes hasn't really been in the fore front. I'm gonna have to donate some clothes so I'll be forced to stop wearing my old stuff and buy some more.
License: Eh..I'm working on it.
Fit: I probably worked out seven times this summer.

Just Placed a HUGE E.L.F. order!
So..about last week I was playing around on eyeslipsface.com and started putting things into my shopping cart that I wanted. I put a lot of stuff, and I didn't really plan on buying anything, more like just checking out what the subtotal would be if I did buy it all.
Don't judge me, I was bored okay?
The price turned out to be $31.00. Well, that was too much for me. Not that $31 is a lot, but I was just playing around and never really planned on buying the things, even though I wanted them.
Today I went back to the website and my things were still in my shopping cart. Then I noticed that ELF was having a 60% off sale. Whoa. My shopping cart was already full of things that I wanted! I mean, I could have went to Target, but my Target sells very few things of ELF that I want. So, for $19 (shipping and handling included), I got:
Cream Eyeshadow Duos:
1 Butter Pecan
1 Olive
1 Mocha Swirl
1 Blueberry
1 Berry Mix
2 Black Licorice (I only wanted one, but I guess I accidentally got two in my shopping cart, oh well, they're only $1)
1 Sugar Cookie
1 Eggplant
1 Coffee and Cream
**I've been having a hard time finding some cream eyeshadow, and everybody says this is really good so I got all the colors. I want to use it as a base under my powder eyeshadows.
Shimmer Eyeliner Pencils:
1 Black Bandit
1 Boldly Bronze
Conditioning Lip Balms:
1 Mellow Melon
1 Romantic Rouge
1 Mineral Eyeshadow in Golden
1 Box of Hypershine Lipglosses (set of 5)
1 Neutral Eyeshadow Palette **been wantin this for months
I know my family is going to look at me crazy when this big ol box of makeup comes to the front door, but I won't care, I'll be too happy.
The Sale started and ends today, so hurry up and get some good stuff. :)

ULTAAA coming soon!
Ugh! I can't explain how excited I am for the new ULTA that's coming to my city. I've watched so many Ulta haul videos and heard of all the products they have there.. I've even looked at the website a couple of times..I'm e x c i t e d . Remember that post I made months ago when I was excited about Sephora? Well now I feel the same way. When they made Sephora, they put it in the JC Penny's which means its extra small. So I hope the Ulta makes up for what Sephora lacks.
What I like/love about Ulta (from what I can tell), is the mix of high-end and low-end products. For beauty, it's mostly a one-stop-shop! They don't have everything I use or want to try, but they have a lot.
And this'll be the first time I'll have access to NYX products! YYYAAAYYY! :)

Youtube Talk. (ramble...again)
Sooo... I want to make consistent videos. Trust me. I do. But it's hard when I don't do anything that is super innovative that works for me. I've noticed that the people I tend to watch (and other people enjoy watching)are more 'jack of all trades', if you will. Or a triple threat: Makeup, Hair, Fashion. And their all extremely good at what they do. I guess my channel will be based more on me learning about my hair and learning how to do makeup. (I hate my second video... 'black and gold look'..just because its not 'me'. I rarely wear makeup with color in it. I'm more of a neutral girl.) I'll soon be introducing a segment called 'Watch me Grow'. These will be random vlogs about my hair and how it's doing and the changes I'm considering making with my hair care. Another segment will be 'Tuesday Tips' (or tips for your Tuesday..a pun for a penny for your thoughts..which do you prefer?) which will be me doing a random tip about hair, nails, makeup, life, fashion, ect! (pretty much w/e I feel like talking about) I hope to do tips that aren't redundant. Something most people haven't heard of or techniques that will help people. (ooooo! I just thought of another one! two minute Tuesday! the video will be around two minutes long and have a tip and a quick explanation of why/how it works!)
I want my channel to be my channel. So I plan on making videos about whatever I want to talk about. But since I started my channel being about beauty, I almost feel constricted into only making hair videos, I'll have to make a random video soon so I won't feel trapped into doing a 'beauty only' channel.
Another thing: makeup tutorials are hard! I didn't think they would be that hard but they are! The problem may partially be my camera, but makeup tutorials aren't my 'thing' so I'm not going to buy a new camera just to make videos that I don't even enjoy watching myself.
All this has to be perfect in order to have a successful makeup tutorial:
Lighting: when I try to do a tutorial, the lighting always sucks, so the makeup looks washed off and not there. You can barely see the colors. Especially since I'm into neutral colors so it blends into my skin tone. On top of that, people aren't even into neutral looks. People seem to want over-the-top colors and boldness that I'm just not into for an everyday look. And then I'll try to take pictures and the flash washes out the colors once again. If I turn off the flash then you can't see it.
Makeup/Skill: I don't want to do makeup tutorials just because, especially since I don't really have the skill set yet to be putting my makeup looks out there yet. If someone wants to watch a makeup tutorial, they obviously want to watch someone who is better than them, not just 'okay'.
Editing: A lot of tutorials have a lot of editing, even people who don't edit their other videos a lot edit their tutorials. (ulovemegz for example) I don't have any editing software that works with my camera. (iPod touch 4th generation)
Angle: The viewers obviously have to be able to see what you're doing when you're doing the makeup. I'm still trying to find places around the house with good lighting and that I can prop my iPod up so everyone can see what I'm doing.
As far as hair tutorials, I never do anything particularly interesting or different when I do my hair. I always wear it in a basic 3-5 styles.
Bottom Line: YouTube has been kind of frustrating so far. :\

Stumble Upon
One of my favoriate websites is stumbleupon.com. No, this has nothing to do with hair/makeup/beauty/ect. For me it's just a random site that I'll visit when I'm bored. Honestly, If I'm bored then I could spend hours wasting time on this site. You just push a button that says 'stumble', and it'll go to the next page. If you like what you're looking at, then you push the 'like' button and it'll have a better sense of what you're interested in, if you don't like it, then push the 'dislike' button. Easy as that.
The things that hold my attention the most are recipies (love to cook), quotes, interesting pictures, games and random facts.

1 Month of Youtube!
So far i have been on YouTube for roughly one month. It's been good. I would upload more frequently, but honestly, I'm having a hard time coming up with video ideas. Makeup really isn't my thing (so far), but I do plan on getting better, so my later videos will have more makeup tutorials. I love hair, but I rarely do anything special enough to do a hair tutorial on. So I'll have a lot of hauls and stuff, but besides that, what do I really have to talk about? On a beauty channel, it seems like that's all people want to see is different types of tutorials, hauls, and reviews. I would do a 'what's in my purse' video, but I have to get a new purse first. (I've been lookin for months! I might get one from either Target or PacSun.)
Anywhoo..I do like making videos. I have less than 5 comments on all my videos added together, but I love the interaction I have with my subscribers.(even if I have less than ten) Speaking of which, I get super excited when YouTube sends me an email saying someone new has subscribed to my channel. It makes me feel like I'm doing videos for a reason.
That's all I have to say for now...don't forget to S U B S C R I B E ! ! !

SALE ALERRRTTTT!!!!
1. The bath and body works 'Hello Yellow' sale is coming soon! I love this store, but I rarely go there without a coupon. I plan on getting a lot of new fragrances, candles, soaps, lotions and other things I think are cool or interesting. This sale starts June 10th.
2. The Victoria's Secret Semi-Annual Sale is coming back! They always have this sale during the summer and around Christmas time so I'm excited to go get some clothes, makeup, and lotions from here! (I normally don't like their perfumes because they smell too alcohol-y) I'm not sure when this sale starts, but I know it happens in June and it's already happening now online.

What I Plan on Buying This Summer. :)
There are so many things I've been wanting to get for the longest time now, and since summer is around the corner, it's time to start finally buying and trying these products! Well, not only things I want to buy, but also things I plan on doing as well.
BUY:
Long Feather Earrings: I think they're sooo cute! I've been wanting these since I saw Kandee Johnson wearing them on her channel and blog. Maybe not as long as hers, but I definitely want some long feather earrings!
Solia or Sedu Flat Iron: The only place I know where to buy these flat irons is on Folica.com. This I've been wanting since around August 2010. Both of them have great reviews on the website, but the Solia is much cheaper and comes in a bundle with a lot of the time. I don't care which one I get, but I know for a fact this summer I'm getting at least one of them.
Flexi Rods: OMGGG! Flexi rods make the cutest hair styles! The down side to them are they are kind of expensive. I mean, five dollars isn't much, but five dollars a pack is kind of much, especially considering I might have to get about six packs and I would want to have different sizes. These I would defiantly have to buy a few packs at a time to grow my flexi rod 'collection'.
BH Cosmetics Palette 1st Edition: I've been wanting this since summer 2009. When I first started watching YouTube videos, I saw a lot of people using this palette and RAVING about it. $30 for 120 colors isn't a bad price, and I figured when I take my senior pics this summer, it'll be great to have to make a great natural look, but it'll also be great for bolder looks when I want to wear those.
Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo: Shilinda1on YouTube has been raving about this shampoo for so long I really want to try it. I like the KeraCare shampoo, but I really want to try it. Also, it's natural and cheaper. It is important for me to continue to and stick to the products for my hair regimen, but I want to try other products! ..and I will.
Dresses/ Rompers (especially floral!)/Wedges/Sandals and shorts: I'm collecting dressers, rompers, and wedges this summer. My wardrobe is full of pants and other winter clothes, but since it's going to be hot, I am getting a whole bunch of cute summer clothes! (Watch my last haul of clothes and other stuff!)

ELF Lipstick/Collection: I want to grow my cheap/drugstore makeup collection before I move to more expensive makeup. I want ELF stuff because it's really cheap, and what I've collected so far is decent quality. Specifically I want to try the lipsticks. I've never tried lipstick before, but I think wearing a lipstick with a cute glossy lip gloss on top will be cute and age appropriate. Right now I've got my eye on 'seductive' from the ELF essentials line. It's a cute pink color that's not too bright for an everyday look. But I will also get other stuff offline that my local Target doesn't offer.
GET:
License: I NEED MY LICENSE!!!!! I'm seventeen. With out a license. I'm gettin it this summer!!!
Fit: I'm focusing on getting fit this summer. I can't wait to work out this summer and get healthier. I don't feel like I need to 'lose weight', more like 'tone up'.

moisturizing and sealing.
well..I haven't been moisturizing and sealing nightly. I felt like it was too much product for my hair, but now my hair has been extremely dry so I think I might have to do it every night again..I don't mind M&S everynight, just have to find the right product balance.

Nail Salon Experience!
Today I went to the nail salon to get my nails done again. I've been needing a fill for a while, but I haven't gotten it because I haven't had a ride. I usually get a fill every two weeks, but this time I think its been three weeks since the last time I've been there. The salon I go to has a lot of red and brown polishes, both colors I'm not intrested in being on my nails, so instead I brought my own polish.
I just bought this polish on saturday and is featured in a upcomming haul video of mine..(have you SUBSCRIBED?) It's a beautiful color by Sally Hansen called 'Lacey Lilac'. I love this line of polishes because its super cheap ($2.04 at my local Target) and the colors are so pretty.
I also had to get a cut down..hence why my nails are so short. I dont like super long nails because I don't think they're as functional as shorter nails but I like the strength of acrylic nails. (I also think the polish lasts longer on my acrylic nails)

YOUTUBEEE!..for good!
When I first started my blog, I also had a YouTube channel. I deleted my videos because I was nervous in front of the camera and the video quality sucked. Now that I have an iPod touch 4th generation, I can use that to film my videos and it looks a lot better. I already uploaded 2 videos and I felt a lot more comfortable in front of the camera this time compared to last time. This time I'll keep uploading videos-my goal is two or three a week- and I hope you like what you see!

KMS Dandruff Conditioner Review
A few weeks ago I bought KMS dandruff conditioner to try for co-washes. I HATE IT! It didn't make my hair soft at all, and I actually think I'm allergic to it. I used it twice and after both times, my scalp burned like crazyyyy! It usually costs $16.50, but I got it for $3 because Trade Secret was having a sale. To stop the burning, I clarified my hair then deep conditoned and I felt better after that.
First Impression: Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum
Master Cuts salon is having a buy one get one half off of Paul Mitchell styling products right now. When I bought the PM tea tree special shampoo, I also got a small bottle of the Super Skinny Serum to try out. I really like it. I use it right after I get out of the shower and put one pump through out my hair. When my hair air dries, it feels super soft compared to when I didn't use it.
Claims:
Basics: Smoothes, conditions and seals strands.
Benefits: Leaves hair smooth, shiny and frizz-free in any weather.
Bonus: Speeds up drying so you get silky smooth results in less time.
My hair is super soft after using it, but it still frizzes so that part, for my hair, isn't true.
I did notice that my hair didn't take the usual 2 hours to air dry though.
Ingredients:
Cyclomethicone, Dimethiconol, Trimethylsiloxyamodimethicone, C11 15 Pareth 7, C12 16 Pareth 9, Trideceth 12, Glycerin, Amodimethicone, Cetrimonium Chloride, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Isobutylparaben, Isopropylparaben, Butylparaben, Fragrance (Parfum), Amyl Cinnamal, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Salicylate, Citronellol, Geraniol, Hexylcinnamal, Linalool, Limonene
Pretty much it's full of silicones, parabens and preservatives which are all bad for your hair. Because of the amount of silicones, I'm not surprised it made my hair feel so soft.
I'll figure out if I want to repurchase when I'm done with the bottle.
